Community renewable energy for Fife?

Fife Communities Climate Action Network are developing a Fife Community Renewables Initiative. We want to create new renewable energy projects, in collaboration with our member community groups, and other local partners, including the public sector.

We think there are lots of advantages, including community empowerment, education, green energy for local people, and long term benefit payments to community organisations.

We would love to hear feedback from local organisations and others on this. Is it a good idea? Are there any opportunities in your area? Projects already in the pipeline? Please get back to us with your comments – you can email us on facilitator.fccan@gmail.com.
